Trichy: A 30-year-old man who was undergoing treatment after jumping off the upstairs of his house due to work-related depression, on Aug 29, succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as S Sathishkumar.
Sathishkumar, a resident of Vasan Valley in Trichy, had been employed by an IT company and had got married only last year.
According to the complaint filed by his father, C Selvarajan, Sathishkumar had been struggling with severe depression due to overwhelming pressure he faced at his workplace.
Unable to bear the burden any longer, he resorted to the drastic step of ending his life by jumping from the upper level of his house. He was admitted in a private hospital for grave injuries. However, Sathishkumar succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday.
